Alison’s work is collected nationally and internationally. Her work has been on The Today Show, CBS-The Good Wife, HGTV, Property Brothers/Lisa Kudrow, Bravo, and countless homes across the US.
Alison's aim is to create abstract paintings that are contemplative and evocative. Her use of blended colors and her tools on canvas tend to give her work an atmospheric effect. It is intentional. Through the view of contrasting soft and dark colors she wants the viewer to stay awhile. Look within. Her body of work is representative of her paths in life, which is inspired by her adventures, independence, and love of color. Alison’s work is ever evolving. Nature is so powerful, so strong. Capturing its essence is not easy - your work becomes a dance with light and the weather. It takes you to a place within yourself and simply becomes a part of the process.

Alison is currently offering one on one classes.

Alongside Alison’s art making, she also works as a mentor helping artists to discover how they can deepen their connection to themselves and trust the process of making their now art.

Through her work with her individual clients, plus Alison’s own education and self taught painting process, she will give you in-depth knowledge to help you succeed.

STUDENT REVIEW : Marni P/ Yarmouth, Maine

Alison is a patient and detail oriented teacher. She tailored our lessons to what I was looking to improve on and made sure to send a list of recommended brushes and tools that would be helpful along my artistic journey.  She is very flexible with scheduling and was generous in sharing her tips and techniques that have helped her become a successful artist. In just 3 lessons, I already see an improvement in my work. If you are looking to learn some new techniques for your tool box, I highly recommend working with Alison!
